In search of the best fabric with a softness
and smoothness nobody can imitate
It was over 20 years ago.
When we set out to create a light, warm cape for babies, we sourced fabric not just from Japan, but also from overseas.
Every day, we would feel the various samples, checking their texture, warmth, lightness, and more.
We wanted to give parents light, warm clothing for outings with their babies, and above all else,
we wanted babies to feel comfortable in clothes that are smooth and gentle on their skin.

This fabric was like no other that we've felt. It wasn't just soft, or just fluffy. It was warm, smooth, and embraced the skin, as if it were real fur. And it was light.
"Let's use this one!" This is where our craftsmanship began.
Quality for long-term,
everyday use
Microfur was hand selected from a long list of candidates.
But, it cannot be deemed MIKI HOUSE quality unless it maintains its comfort and texture even with long-term, daily use.
Through careful consideration of the stitching, lining, and more, we were able to ensure that this texture would last even after multiple washes, resulting in the creation of the Microfur Collection, a combination of cuteness and comfort unique to MIKI HOUSE.
This is why it continues to be loved more than 20 years after its creation.
