The antibacterial・antiviral ingredient used known as “Etak®” was researched and discovered by Hiroshima University’s Professor Hiroki Nikawa. This ingredient is infused into our materials, and its antibacterial and antiviral property is highly effective even after multiple washes. It has also been used in oral hygiene, and has been tested for outstanding antibacterial qualities as well as safety.

The Effect of Pureveil on Bacteria and Viruses on the Surface

It is said that when bacteria and viruses settle on regular cloth, viruses will remain on the surface for 24~72 hours. Bacteria may even multiply under certain conditions.
On the other hand, Pureveil is infused with Etak®, which reduces the number of certain viruses that can settle on the surface. It can also eliminate certain bacterial growth.

Baby Hadagi (For Newborns ~ 3 Months Old)

Our hadagi for newborns have many beneficial features outside of “Pureveil” features.
They are made with meticulously selected cotton, have a soft texture, and wrap your baby in warmth while still being highly absorbent and durable.
In addition, all stitching, tags and laundry instructions are on the outside to prevent skin irritation. The body is made with only one piece of material, with no irritating seams at the armpit.

There are 3 types of materials we use to make our newborn hadagi.

Rib knit:

For all year round. Comfortable fit with elasticity and breathability. Soft texture.

Knit Gauze:

For all year round. Made with two layers of jersey material for insulation. Fluffy texture.

Jersey:

Recommended for spring and summer for its excellent breathability. Easy, breezy light texture.

Baby Accessories

Make sure you have accessories to keep your baby’s head and hands warm.
Hats will keep your baby’s head warm. In the cold season babies can catch colds without head protection, so make sure to provide warmth accordingly.
In addition, babies have fast-growing thin nails, and have a tendency to scratch their faces. You can prevent this by providing them with mittens. This also doubles as warmth for the cold season.
Many items have matching patterns, and can be worn together for a cute coordinated look.

Baby Comforter

Newborn babies sleep about 20 hours a day.
Providing the best option is key, as your baby will spend most of their time in bed.

Infant Hadagi

As they gain head control, we recommend you transition them to bodysuit-type hadagi that covers the stomach. A one-piece hadagi is ideal for this age; an exposed stomach will not be an issue with these.
We offer both over-the-head designs as well as button-up designs. Choose the sleeve length that best suits the season, from sleeveless, short sleeve or long sleeve.
We also recommend 100% cotton mesh jersey material for midsummer.

Toddler Hadagi (Approx. 1 Year Old)

Hadagi with separate top and bottom become the more convenient option as your child begins to stand. You will most likely prepare separates for them as they start attending nursery.
Choose the sleeve length that best suits the season, from sleeveless, short sleeve or long sleeve. Some T shirts and underwear have matching patterns, and can be worn together for a cute coordinated look.
Changing clothes throughout the day may become necessary as they become more active, so we recommend having multiples.

Gauze Mask for Children

We have thoughtfully chosen the materials and shape of our masks with the comfort of your children in mind.
The soft masks are made with 100% cotton.
3D Structure: The center of the mask is raised for a three-dimensional shape that fits perfectly, and does not lose shape easily.
Elastic Strings: The sides of the mask naturally gather to perfectly fit the contours of the face when worn.
